Jan Brady, M.A., MFT, Field Capable Services for Older Adults
Jan has been studying and practicing in the field of Gerontology for 20 years. She has provided individual
therapeutic services in the homes of the frail elderly, facilitated social/educational groups for older individuals,
provided educational lectures related to aging in the community, and been the Program Manager of a Community
Services Independent Living Gerontology Program. Jan has been involved in the research of “Aging With a Disability”
and was published in the journal, “The Gerontologist”. She has a passion for working with older individuals and feels
as though she has benefited and gained so much wisdom from serving this population.
Jan Brady will spend much of her time engaging with seniors who have serious mental health issues in their homes,
in senior centers, and other places where seniors are present. She will integrate her work with other providers
of senior services in the Tri-City area, and with Community Navigators Team.
