 Organization Description
Tri-City Mental Health Center is a municipal Joint Powers Authority written in legislation since 1960 to provide Short-Doyle and Short-Doyle/Medi-Cal outpatient mental health services to residents of the cities of Claremont, La Verne and Pomona, as well as surrounding communities. As the sole source provider for Medi-Cal and indigent services in the region, Tri~City has experienced rapid growth for the last six years.

Our service region has a culturally diverse, urban population of more than 400,000. The ethnicity of our client population is 43% Latino, 22% African-American, 27% white, 2% Asian, 1% Native American, 1% Other and 4% unknown. The agency's staff strives to deliver culturally competent services, and is 41% Latino, 16% African-American, 33% white, 9% Asian and 1% Native American, closely mirroring the client population.

The agency's Main Clinic and Adult Services facility has been located at 2008 North Garey in Pomona since 1991.
