Paula Lantz, Chair, City of Pomona, Mayor Pro Tem
A life-long Pomona resident, Paula Lantz graduated from Pomona High School,
Pomona College and holds a Masters in Education from Claremont Graduate School.
She taught school in Pomona, and as a registered Social Worker, was Foster-Care
Coordinator for Hillview Acres in Chino, CA and ultimately a Foster Parent for many
years.

Jon Blickenstaff, Vice Chair, City of La Verne Mayor
Jon was first elected to the City Council
in April 1980. He has been serving as La Verne's elected Mayor since 1982.
A lifelong resident of La Verne, Jon is a graduate of the University of La Verne
and holds a master's degree and administrative credential from California State
University,
Los Angeles.

Cristina Carrizosa, City of Pomona, Council Member
for District 3
Cristina Carrizosa was
born in Tepic Nayarit, Mexico. She made Pomona her home in 1963. She worked in various
jobs such as picking strawberries, playground supervisor and Instructional Aide
in the Pomona Unified School District. She earned a B.A. and M.A. from California
State Polytechnic University Pomona.

Ellen Taylor, City of Claremont, Mayor Pro Tem
Ellen has been actively involved in a variety of community organizations during
her 27 years as a Claremont resident, including membership and service on the boards
of the Claremont League of Women Voters (past President), Claremont Chamber of Commerce
(past President), Claremont Heritage (past Vice President), Claremont Community
Coordinating Council (past Vice President), Friends of the Claremont Public Library
(past Vice President), and Friends of International Place at the Claremont
Colleges.

Bertha Washington, V.P. of LA County Coordinating Council
Bertha Washington, a retired Director f Human Resources and resident of La Verne, is an
involved member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). She is also the Vice
President of the Los Angeles Conty Coordinating Council and chair of the SAAC Exectutive
Commitee.
