Mental Health First Aid Instructor Training
Tri-City Mental Health Services will be offering a third Mental Health First Aid Instructor Training for individuals who live, work, volunteer or serve in the cities of Pomona, La Verne, and Claremont. We are looking to offer this free training to our community partners that would be willing to teach the Mental Health First Aid course. If you are someone who would like to educate your community on how to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and train them to respond when someone experiences a crisis, please consider becoming a MHFA Instructor.

Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid is a free class that Tri-City Mental Health is offering to those who live, work, or serve the Tri-City area in the hopes that, as people become more educated about mental illness, they will feel more confident in providing assistance to those in their lives who may be developing or suffering from a mental health issue. This can be beneficial in helping friends or family, working with clients, or responding to anyone that you come across. After the 12 hour course you will be able to recognize signs and symptoms of several disorders, and you will have an action plan to enable you to actually provide assistance.
