FREE MONTHLY COMMUNITY TRAININGS
Every month, Tri-City Mental Health hosts free webinars and in-person presentations to address ways to support individual and community mental health and build resilience. Presentations highlight practical information, self-care strategies and trauma-informed practices to help anyone thrive – families, individuals, and community organizations. These presentations are free and open to everyone in the community.
Join us virtually on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM. We each play a role in supporting the health and wellbeing of youth, adults and families. This webinar will explore how early life experiences, especially stressful or traumatic ones, can impact long-term health and well-being. We’ll share how families and caregivers can better understand these challenges, support healing, and help children, teens, and themselves grow stronger through life’s difficulties. After attending, participants will know:
- The 1998 ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) study
- How trauma and toxic stress affect a child or teen’s developing brain, body and emotions
- Strategies and resources to support yourloved one’s emotional strength and your own
This training is free and open to the general public, service providers, educators, community groups, and organizations in Pomona, Claremont and La Verne.
