May is Mental Health Month. Find healing your habits and in your community.

May is Mental Health Month, a time to remember that just like we care for our physical health, we can take action to support our mental well-being every day. For many of us, talking about mental health is a newer conversation, but people have always found ways to cope and support one another. Mental health looks different for everyone. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. What matters is noticing the small ways we show up for ourselves and others before, during, and after challenging moments

Take Action for Mental Health logo

Join Tri-City Mental Health in celebrating California's statewide movement, Take Action for Mental Health, and exploring what mental health means to you. This year’s theme, Mental Health is Ours, encourages you to honor what is already there to support you and to take simple, meaningful steps that help you feel steadier, safer and more connected.

Healing can be found in our everday habits, cultures, communities, rituals, and routines, andc cre can show up in everyday moments, like taking care of yourself when you are tired or overwhelmed. For some people, support comes from relationships, professional help and community. For others, it shows up in routines, creativity, quiet moments or simply getting through the day. All of these moments and everday acts of care matter.

Whether you’re looking for new community connections or rediscovering what already helps you feel grounded and supported, this month offers you resources, activities and events to care for yourself and each other.
