MHSA
The Mental Health Services Act (MHSA), also known as Prop 63, was approved by California voters in November 2004 and became effective January 1, 2005. MHSA is funded by a 1% tax on personal incomes above one million dollars and designed to expand and transform California’s public mental health system.
Tri-City’s MHSA Community Services and Supports (CSS) Plan was approved in June 2009.
Tri-City’s Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Plan was approved in March 2010.
